eMATES

Description

The eMates project focuses on bridging the digital divide for adult migrants by supporting second-language (L2) educators. It aims to equip these educators with innovative methods and educational materials to enhance their teaching in areas related to e-government. By improving language skills (A1, A2, B1 levels) and using digital tools, the project seeks to promote autonomy and social inclusion for migrants.

Objectives

  • Enhance the capacity of L2 educators to teach digital and e-government-related content.
  • Develop a complementary curriculum that integrates language learning with practical, real-world digital tasks.
  • Empower adult migrants by building their autonomy in navigating e-government services and integrating into society.

Results

  • A complementary curriculum for L2 teachers to adapt language lessons with digital tools.
  • Practical, accessible materials for L2 educators, designed to foster interactive learning about e-government for adult migrants.
  • An online platform that supports digital content for L2 learning and empowers both educators and adult migrants.
