Description

InSEVE (Inclusive Education Through Sensory and Visual Engagement) is a project aimed at enhancing educational opportunities for individuals with visual impairments (VI) and those facing social challenges such as migrants and refugees. The project uses cultural heritage as a key educational tool to foster inclusivity, promote intercultural understanding, and support the professional development of educators working with these groups.

Objectives

The main objectives of the project are:

  • Develop and implement inclusive educational programs that cater to individuals with visual impairments (VI) and/or social challenges like migration and displacement.
  • Strengthen the competencies of educators, trainers, and cultural workers by providing them with tools and methodologies to engage individuals with VI and other challenges.
  • Use cultural heritage as an educational resource to promote inclusivity, intercultural dialogue, and a deeper understanding of different cultures.
  • Adapt existing educational programs to be more accessible for individuals with visual impairments and other functional obstacles (FO).
  • Create and strengthen collaborations among museums, NGOs, SMEs, and other cultural institutions to develop sustainable educational initiatives.
  • Increase awareness about the potential of inclusive education and the importance of accessibility in cultural and educational sectors, particularly in relation to Erasmus+ and other EU programs.
