Adults for Future aims to engage older adults in green practices through activism and to address the various issues they face. The projects wants to support adult educators and adult education centres to involve older adults in environmental education. It also aims to strengthen the role of older adults in their engagement with the environment in society.
Adults for Future aims to encourage a broader understanding of how to actively engage older adults in green practices by a
more nuanced definition of activism, by looking at the different contexts and issues they face. Plus, we want to support adult
educators and adult education centres in improving their practices in terms of environmental education engagement for
older adults. Finally, we aim at strengthening the role of older adults in being environmentally active in the wider society.
